George Joseph Neal Schon (born February 27, 1954, at Tinker Air Force Base near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ) is an American rock guitarist, composer, and singer best known for his work with the band Journey . It is the only member who has recorded the album Journey. He was also a member of the rock band Santana before joining Journey.
