Matt Ryan

Matthew Thomas "Matt" Ryan (born on May 17, 1985) is the starting football quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons National Football League. He was selected in the first round as the third option the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Boston College.

He was a starter at Boston College from 2005 to 2007, leading them to three bowl victories and a 25-7 record in 32 starts. He threw for 200 yards or more 15 times and is the fifth time in the north-history of the school passing yards and pass completions. He earned MVP honors at the MPC Computers Bowl in 2005.
In 2007, Ryan led his team to a championship in the Atlantic Division and was named ACC Player of the Year of the CCC. During his rookie season, Ryan has started all 16 games for the Falcons and led them to the playoffs with a 05/11 season record. He also won honors as the 2008 NFL Offensive Rookie AP this year.
